Around Town

I dropped by a Philadelphia client's home for a little visit on Monday, and snapped a few photos...

we can't get enough of Peter Dunham's "fig leaf"
(how cute is this chair?)

her new credenza arrived (topped with 1960s brass table lamps);
and I love her vintage runner in the entry

I presented some new designs for a master bedroom...

and, a little boys room (love the twin beds)

I managed to get myself downtown this week...

new haircut (at Jason Matthew Salon on Chestnut Street, in case anyone is interested-- ask for Kathy.  It took me two long years to find her)

After that, I stopped by the Philadelphia design center...

loving this purple ombre velvet stripe;
and, I'm also digging that ruffle trim.

Yesterday, I dropped by another client of mine for a quick visit...

she has the prettiest backyard,
complete with bluestone patio (I love the pea gravel detail!)

this is the lovely view from her family room window.

Happy Friday everyone!  I have a date with my husband tonight for a competitive round of mini golf.  :)  I hope your weekend is as equally joyful.

xx

Love the fabrics and the projects!! I always love peeks from you.

And here is my total stalker moment-
I must have been at the Design Center the same day as you because when I picked up my memos from Kravet they almost handed me yours instead. Almost ran around the building trying to find and meet you, but had to leave. (And felt like a stalker ;)

Naomi! That's so funny-- the next time that happens, we should have coffee at the new coffee shop on the 1st level!

Kelly - I'm in awe of your presentation boards! WOW! They look amazing...I am definitely going to use them as inspiration. Mine are seriously lacking now that I've seen these! They must take you a ton of time. One question if I may: Do you use AutoCAD for your drawings? Really great looking...

What gorgeous twin beds, is it possible to please share your source? I am re-designing my son's bedroom and have been looking for something great! Thanks!

The bluestone with pea gravel is a [new to me] detail. I love that. Your hair looks great, too. And, yes the chair and cushion are fab.

Your proposal plans look so nice - I love the fabrics chosen for the master proposal. Isn't Instagram fun? I feel like all of my photos anymore are from Instagram and it comes right up on my Photo stream which is so easy. Have a great weekend.

Kristin-- Thank you! And yes, I use AutoCAD. I'd be lost without it. ;)

Caroline-- the twin beds are from Ballard Designs. Good luck with your design!

My Crafty Home Life-- thank you! I loved that detail too.

Holly-- instagram is the BEST. I'm obsessed.
