This classic New Hampshire farmhouse is "home" to Ryan & Emerson Fry, creators of the oh-so-preppy clothing line, EmersonMade. You might remember some of these images if you're a reader of Design*Sponge (the Fry's home was featured last year). I love the wide plank floors, bright white walls, and simple antique furniture. These two have got some serious style going on... and perhaps the most beautiful pantry in existence.
This month, Boston Magazine gave us another peek into this charming country home (which is also a haven for Emerson's ducks and chickens). This place is SO cheerful, I had to share the happiness with all of you.
the front door at Emerson Farm... love the wooden storm door (or screen door?) and I really love the "Emerson Farm" sign! How charming!
a 'mudroom corner' in the entry...
a leopard coat shows off one of EmersonMade's signature flowers.
The kitchen! It appears that the Frys have soapstone counters with a butcherblock island (love both!), and the open shelving allows them to display all that fabulous white servingware.

here's the perfect pantry. not a major brand name label in sight.
and here's Emerson in her perfect pantry (featured in Boston Magazine Home)
an understated dining set sits under an antique chandelier
the living room (from the Design*Sponge sneak peek)
another cozy living space, from the current Boston Magazine Home
an EmersonMade table runner
love the Colette bed, love the monogrammed pillows...
a corner reading nook (check out those wide plank floors!)
traditional with a twist: twin beds in bright yellow!
Now, don't even get me started on the EmersonMade clothes. Everything in the collection is so chic and so adorable, it's no wonder that their home is equally enchanting.

Love this house! You would like my old farmhouse, I think. We have similar wide-planked floors in the kitchen (can't wait until we remodel and open up the back stairway and fireplace in the summer kitchen!!), traditional oak floors throughout the first floor, and 6-inch white-painted pine on the second floor. I'm debating stripping the floors upstairs and staining, keeping them white, or going with a glossy black. Decisions!
i love love loev anything and everything EmersonMade. thanks for sharing!

Hi Deanna!
SO JEALOUS over your wide plank floors. SO jealous. Ours are all over the place (finish wise). We'll need to refinish everywhere...
I'm thinking about painting the floors on our 3rd floor too. It's sort of hard to make these decisions when it's your own place, isn't it?!! You see so many options (on blogs), how can we commit to just one?! Good luck with your reno. Love your blog, btw. :)

Kell. Seriously. Why do you do this to me? Before I had babies, I had a beautiful pair of high-waisted wide leg jeans. Now all I want to do is have them fit again... and then buy a few chickens... and maybe a duck... and a bunch of glass jars for my pantry. Just saying.
What a fantastic house - I'm obsessed with that pantry. So gorgeously clean and simple!
I need that pantry!
That pantry is freaking fabulous! Wow...so amazing. And those huge heavy exposed beams...Thanks!
I love these images! They take me to another place, somewhere very organized,HA! All the images are stunning with the exception of seeing a highchair and a gun leaning against a wall in the entry way. Takes me back to the show Sesame Street, "one of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong."
Wow, perfection, I could not agree more. Thanks for sharing the Boston Mag feature! xo
Can anyone tell me where to get those folding dining chairs? I've been seeing them everywhere in Blogland but don't know where to buy. Thanks!
Buffie :)
Love Emerson Fry and her home is so cozy stylish and natural, just like her. I would imagine it this way. SHe is a doll.
