Lampas Chinois Fabric

Attention lottery winners!!  If you're looking for an amazing fabric (that looks like a treasured antique print- really), please take a look at Schumacher's Lampas Chinois (in "vert" especially).  When an email with this fabric popped into my inbox last week, I immediately requested samples for my library.  It's described as "sumptuous yet soothing" and I couldn't agree more.  They suggest upholstering your walls with it!  Or, buying yards and yards for glorious drapery.   Okay, okay, I love it!  And, I have to have it!  Give it to me.  What's the retail price you say?  Over $600 per yard?  That's when I deflated into sad puddle on my desk.  Boo.

It must be made with the finest threads in all the land.  The most treasured pigments available.  Because it really is awesome.

And, a close up...

Seriously, if you are considering dropping some serious cash on fabric, let me know.  :)
This print is just so pretty.

Mary McDonald Wallpaper (Chinois Palais & Park Avanue Python)

Mary McDonald's fabric and trim collection for Schumacher is so beautiful, it will make your eyes pop out of your head.  :)  But now, that collection is even BETTER because two of her most popular prints-- Chinois Palais and Park Avenue Python--are now available in wallpaper panels.  Hooray!!!

For me, it doesn't get any better than this green colorway...

The "blush" version is equally stunning.  Just gorgeous.

And, one of my absolute favorites-- the Park Avenue Python-- is now a wallpaper.  I love this...

I have samples shipping to my office as we speak.  Very excited to use them in upcoming projects.

As a refresher, here are some of my favorite images from the Mary McDonald collection.  The appliques and trims are seriously in a class of their own (if you ask me).  Bravo, Miss Mary.

John Robshaw for Duralee

John Robshaw has created a new and unique collection of fabrics for Duralee and I'm OBSESSED.  Every single print is perfectly bohemian while still feeling super sophisticated.  I want everything in this chic collection.  See for yourself...

Some of my favorites...

I love this print so much, we're using it in a client's Philadelphia home.  Here's a snapshot of the fabric combination that we're using:

New Fabric Collection: LuLu DK CHILD

Did you see the new collaboration between F. Schumacher and Lulu deKwiatkowski?  The marketing material reads, "Lulu DK, For the Sophisticated Child" (which is so cute, isn't it?).  And I've gotta say, even though these fabrics are really fun and playful, they're pretty sophisticated too.  Take a look for yourself...

(elephant and monkey dressed in Skittles)

My favorite FAVORITE part of the collection are the flat trims.  I'm so in love with every colorway (and the fact that they're 3.5" wide!!!)...

I love the way this trim looks on the leading edge of these drapery panels-- so fun.

To see the entire Lulu DK CHILD collection, hop on over to the F.Schumacher website.

Bohemian Paradise

I am a big fan of Peter Dunham Design and Peter Dunham Textiles.  He's truly a master of bohemian design and does it soooo well.  Layers and layers and layers...

Peter Dunham Textiles are available through Hollywood At Home:

LOVE this collection.  There's something for everyone here.  A little Mediterranean, a little Indian, and little Moroccan.  Fancy, casual.  All rolled into one.
