Friday's Giveaway (and Thursday's Winner)

Today is the last day in my week of giveaways!  Let me just say that I've had a blast reading all of your comments this week!  Thank you all for participating.  I have the best readers, I think.  And if I had more money?  I would give presents to everyone (in my best Oprah voice I would say, "YOU get a car! YOU get a car! YOU get a car!").

Today's final giveaway is a classic High Street Market find...

A vintage brass apple & pear!

These brass pieces are actually little bells-- perfect for the holiday season!
Made of solid brass and polished to reveal their original shine.
the pear measures 4" high
the apple measures 3" high

I love decorating with quirky vintage finds like these!  They bring so much personality to a space.

Here is a similar brass apple from my shop, featured in a past issue of Lonny Magazine!

(in the home of Victoria Thompson)

I have a few of these vintage bowls, and I use them all around our house...

Wednesday's Giveaway (and Tuesday's Winner!)

Today is Day 3 in my week of giveaways!  So far, we've given away a vintage Wedgwood toast rack and a custom made Snow Leopard pillow!  Today, the prize is just a little bigger...

A three piece collection of Westmoreland milk glass from the 1940s!

This folded milk glass bowl has the most beautiful edge.  It comes with a pair of Westmoreland milk glass candlesticks-- the perfect start for a milk glass collection!  Both the bowl and the pair of candlesticks were made by the Westmoreland Glass Company in the late 1940s, all are in mint condition.
the bowl measures 12.5" x 10.5"
each candlestick is 5" wide and 5" high
an $80.00 value

The lacey edge on this bowl is gorgeous!  To make it a little more festive--for birthday parties, holidays, etc.--run a colorful ribbon through the perimeter!  Here, I used one of my favorite yellow ribbons from the shop, but wouldn't it be great with a tartan ribbon this Christmas?
Then, fill the bowl with homemade cookies!

If you didn't win the giveaway, and you REALLY wanted a pillow-- don't fret!
I have a few snow leopard pillows left in the shop!

Happy Wednesday!
