1948 Solid Brass Racehorse Doorstop
Designed by Calvin Roy Kinstler, this racehorse doorstop depicts "Citation", the 1948 winner of the Triple Crown.
Original 1965 Lytegem task lamp by Lightolier.
Designed by Michael Lax and produced by Lightolier, this task lamp has been a permanent part of the New York Museum of Modern Art collection. Famous for creating the most perfect reading light! This lamp adjusts every which way, and can even be mounted on the wall to be used as a wall sconce.
1960s Paul McCobb Mahogany Credenza with Brass Base
Made of mahogany and standing on a brass base, this credenza was designed by Paul McCobb. This American born designer studied art in Boston, before going off to serve in WWII. Upon his return, he began his career as a furniture designer in New York City. His future works were later licensed with a variety of American furniture manufacturers. A major influrence on mid-century design, Paul McCobb was known as "Americas Decorator".
The new vintage section of our store will be ever evolving, and we'll update it daily. It will include a full range of price points (so there's something for everyone!).
To answer your questions, we will not be closing the Etsy shop! The High Street Market etsy shop will continue to list vintage housewares on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteArchana- the wheat sheaf table is gorgeous! Unfortuantely, I can't reserve it for you like we sometimes do in the etsy shop. The new store has a "no reserve" policy! But, the shop should be open soon, and I will notify you as soon as it is!
