A Southern California girl living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I am an interior designer with a love for vintage home furnishings. In addition to running my design business, I co-own a retail store called High Street Market (which is also the name of this blog). I live in Philadelphia with my husband. Three years ago, we bought a 120 year old house and we are working hard to restore it! This blog is a place for me to share my design inspiration, current home projects, and new vintage finds. Hope you like it!
Milk and Honey Home, yes! It is a Novogratz pool! Good eye. And, I love it-- so simple and modern. And, I love that it's surrounded by lawn, rather than hardscape.
I DO like shiny floors... in the right space. Our place has a mix of everything. The 1st floor hardwoods have a thick poly coat on them, the 2nd floor hardwoods are all slightly different (the result of a bad diy-refinishing project on the previous homeowners parts), and third floor hardwoods have been smothered under bad carpeting for the last 50 years. So, we have our work cut out for us. :)

I L. O. V. E. all of these images, great picks! Dreaming of sitting on the pier in the first image, how great would that be??
Northern Light
Gorgeous post...so much to love here! Tracey xx
I think I just bookmarked every single one of those images. LOVE this post - totally inspiring!
Those are some pretty inspiring images. I could just curl up into that bed from Traditional Home right now!
You and me both!! I really love the images, thank you so much!
So pretty. So soothing. That pool is fantastic!
Love these pictures! Even (I think) the second one with the shiny hardwoods. I usually don't like shiny, but this works.
Will you do dark floors in your reno?
Also, is that the Novogratz pool?
Really beautiful images that radiate a cool sophistication. Oh and that pool? Divine!!
all of these images are too much! i love this!
Such beautiful images!
Thanks, gals!
