The Keno Brothers

Are you a fan of Antiques Roadshow?  I am.  My husband and I watch it every single week.  And if you're a fan of the show, you know the undeniable enthusiasm of the Keno brothers.  For the last 30 years, Leslie and Leigh Keno have been appraising antique furniture.  On Roadshow, their expertise is only matched by their phenomenal enthusiasm... you'll hear them say thinks like "look at that great oxidation!" or, "see the curve of this cabriole leg?!"  It's clear that they love what they do.  And, we love watching them!  They make studying antique furniture so much fun.

Anyway, after 30 years of examining designs of the past, Leslie and Leigh Keno are designing their own furniture.  They've teamed up with furniture maker, Theodore Alexander, to create an entire line of pieces that are now available for purchase (click here to see the Keno collection).

Here are some of my favorites...

And, my favorite piece...

it comes as a dining table, coffee table, or desk:

And, with the enthusiasm of a Keno brother, "Would you just look at those legs! And, that brass detail!!!  What a fabulous piece!"

How about you?  Are you an Antiques Roadshow fan?
Did anyone see the episode where the gal had over $1 million dollars in jade carvings? CRAZY.

  2. That first chair is rad! As is the little black table... I've never watched the show. I can't tear myself away from Tabitha's Salon Takeover these days.

  3. Designing? Try stealing. Take a look at Cedric Hartman's AE table (link below) and then let me know how much "designing" went into their Manhattan II table. Oy.
