A great bar cart can make a party happen in any room. Am I right, or am I right?
If the bar cart is on wheels, well, you can take it from the dining room to the living room (and back again!). We're partial to our "Alfred" Bar Cart-- with it's polished nickel frame and mirrored countertops...
But, I also loooove this brass version from Williams Sonoma. Leather handles, people!
Over the Holidays, a vintage bar cart from our store made it home with a High Street Market customer (a very talented photographer in New York). She even snapped a picture of it all decked out, in it's new home!
Looks pretty spiffy, if I do say so myself.
...
thank you so much! looks great. and all those bar carts are good inspiration on stocking mine a bit more.
ReplyDeleteI like the styling of a nice bar cart, but I have a three year old and I don't think the two go together.
ReplyDeleteOoh it's so funny you posted this, as I'm working on something similar. I'm redecorating my office and just consolidated desk space to bring in a 1920's club chair I had in the attic. The space next to it was perfect for a dry bar area. I couldn't find a bar cart that I liked (locally) so I picked up a cute antique side table for $25 and a second-hand store. Working on styling it now - your pictures are such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a bar cart... and grew up with a beautiful brass one in our living room. But I just don't want to actually see all those bottles all the time! Plus, the cart is a major dust catcher. Beautiful in the right place, I think, and I love all these images!
ReplyDeleteYou are right - how cute. Must start rumaging through the thrift stores and vintage markets asap!
