Inspired By: Papaya Pink

images from JCrew, Rita Konig, Design Sponge, and Modern Thread

You know that fruity shade of pink that falls somewhere between "bubblegum" and "peach"?  That shade of papaya pink that has just the right amount of orange in it?  I love that color.

I've pulled a great papaya pink linen and I'm hoping to use it on a pair of lampshades.  Pink lampshades.  That should spruce up the space I'm working on.

  2. This is the exact color I'm looking for to accent my living room. Do you know where to source any of the prints/pillows in the pics?

  3. Well, the Quadrille pillows were seen on Modern Thread: http://www.etsy.com/shop/modernthread?ref=seller_info ... but, they're not for sale anymore!

If you want, I can order the fabric for you and have it made into pillows? If you're interested, let me know! My email is kellygalvinrobson@gmail.com

  7. Before my husband and I were married and bought our farm, he owned a gentleman's farm. The main living room in the farmhouse was painted that papaya pink color, and it was fabulous! I didn't know my husband could be so chic until I saw that (on a side note, my husband has a very intellectual/technical professional and doesn't come across as "stylish," but he actually surprises me with dresses and blouses that are so perfect and timeless, he's a closet fashionista, I think!!).

  8. Deanna, that's so funny. I think that pink can be a very masculine color! And I particularly like this shade of pink-- it's warmer than the traditional "ballet pink." It was my grandfather's favorite color... he even wore a pink vest under his tux at our wedding.
