Donna Karan for Lenox

Yesterday, I drove up to New York City for a quick trip through the Tabletop Tradeshow at the Merchandise Mart.  There were plenty of beautiful things, but the one item I can't get out of my head is this crystal lowball (and highball for that matter):

"Pleated" crystal glasses from the Donna Karan collection for Lenox.
They are GORGEOUS in person.

Donna Karan's collaboration with Lenox has garnered much attention.  Architectural Digest featured the designer and her lastest wares in their March issue.

With chic, metropolitan hues and seductively irregular shapes, the tableware neatly ties together Karan’s two sides—the urbanite and the nomad. “There’s a soul in the collection,” she says, “an energy that some people won’t even understand but will be affected by.”  Read the Architectural Digest article in it's entirity HERE.

Lonny Magazine also included the Donna Karan collection in their March/April issue, stating that "the designs are luxe yet functional for everyday use."

I like the simple shapes and textures of these pieces.  But, the glasses!  Oh, those crystal glasses...

Everything is available at Neiman Marcus
