Hometown Visitor

I was a guest in my own hometown this weekend, and I had the best time.  While a try to catch up on my work this morning, I thought I would share a few photos from my trip...

(still on east coast time, I took a walk before the sunrise)

(Dana Point Harbor-- our view from breakfast at Proud Mary's)

(shopping at the Rainbow Factory in San Clemente.  picked up a couple of things...)

(on my way to Corona Del Mar, driving north on PCH)

(attended a baby shower for my dear friend; lunch was poolside)

(Salt Creek Beach, where I spent many many summer days)

(the view from Sunday breakfast in Laguna Beach)

(a neighbor's succulent garden and sprawling bougainvilla)

  2. Oh man! If you were only there a week later, we could have met up! I'll be in Southern Cal for a week, leaving Saturday.

I love Dana Point and especially Laguna Beach! We used to live in RSM.

  3. What a great getaway. It's funny, it took many years living in Maine, after I left LA, to consider going home a getaway. What I love most are the beaches and the great food! Mike is down in San Clemente for work quite a bit...makes me want to go with him now! xoTrina

  8. Thanks for the comments, guys!

    Now, regarding the shoes...

Emily and Kitarita-- the loafers are SO awesome! Yes, they are Rainbows and they have the same sole... but the entire exterior is made of a buttery leather. Seriously, I died and grabbed myself a pair (they came in a ton of colors, but mine are ivory). I couldn't find them on their website, but you might be able to have the San Clemente factory store send you a pair? Mine were $70.00, which is a steal if you ask me. All leather, so comfy.

    xx
