Meyer Davis Studio, Part I

The website and portfolio of New York based design firm, Meyer Davis Studio is beyond impressive. The website itself has an agenda of its own, constantly rotating photos and changing formats-- it's impossible to be bored with it. And, the images speak for themselves.

The work of principal designers, Will Meyers and Gray Davis, is steeped in modern design but yet, to me, still feels comfortable and livable. One project in particular (recently featured on Desire to Inspire) really caught my eye. Within their portfolio, it is simply called the "Lake House" and while many of the spaces have a clean and modern feel, the bones of the home feel old and unpretentious. And, of course, I LOVE the vintage accessories...

Love the Frech Press and black and white boat photograph.

A collection of vintage sports equipment is displayed in a beautiful mid-century bookcase, and I love the framed print leaning against the wall.

I love the vintage fan (and the trunk)! But the windows are the best thing in this room.

I am loving this vibrant color green.

More beautiful windows, and is that the same fan?

What a stunning bathroom... love the floor to ceiling drape, the painted black wall and is that white penny tile on the floor? Love it.

Perfect for roasting marshmallows...

And, as it turns out? This firm designed one of my favorite "kids room" tear sheets. Remember this from our beloved Domino (RIP)?
